I loved everything about this family session.  These two cute kiddos were absolutely perfect and were natural right in front of the camera.  It had been a while since I've done a session on Sand Key.  I forgot how picturesque it is at this location with so many options of different backdrops to work with.  Because I had so many fantastic shots it took me hours to edit.  It was all worth it because the outcome exceeded my expectations.   I will definitely be shooting more on the beach this next year.

I had her attention for a few moments but like any 2 year old she just wanted to play instead of pose in front of the camera. In those brief moments I was able to capture those brilliant, beautiful sweet mischievous looks. The ones that offer their true personality. This was a family session but Charlotte stole the show. How can she not, she's a stunning little girl who's personality is way to big for her tiny body. So, I photographed what I could and tried to focus on the candid moments of this family. We had a great time and she definitely kept me on my toes and smiling.

Big Brother Little Brother

I've always loved Newborn lifestyle sessions.  Like all the beautiful ones you see on Pinterest.  I always thought how easy it would be just to go in clients home and photograph them in their natural environment.  While, I loved shooting this session, it is some tough work.  Thankfully, this sweet family welcomed me warmly into their beautiful home and gave me the opportunity to capture them just hanging out.  It was out of my comfort zone to be indoors but I took the challenge.  Barker was easy, he was all smiles and showed me around his room, how he jumps on his bed and reads his books.  He was a great big brother too.  So gentle and sweet with Beckett.  Like I said I love these sessions hopefully, I get the opportunity for more practice.
