Baby Olsens's Birth Announcement

Rob + Mel = Baby Olsen on the way

One of my oldest dearest friends is having a baby after only just getting married.  Cannot be more excited for this wonderful couple.  So of course, I jumped at the opportunity to make sure they had a really cute birth announcement.  Since they got pregnant very quickly after getting hitched I thought it would be appropriate to announce that this baby was made on their honeymoon.  Loved being able to do this shoot but more importantly getting to see my friend as well.

17 years in the making...

The Snow Family

What a pleasure it was to capture this moment together for the Snow Family.  I was asked by Rachel to come and shoot a family portrait session for her and her family because it had been a very long time since they had all taken a vacation together.  It was my very first large family shoot and I was up for the task.  While to shoot went great, to my surprise several of the pictures had a sun spot right in the middle.  I worked really hard to get it out with editing techniques but unfortunately this was the best that I could do.  They were completely understanding and even encouraging over my mistake.  Despite some faults this was a huge lesson for me on shooting at the beach with a lot of light and reflections.  All in all I was still able to capture the essence of this wonderful family.

A new baby, a new daughter, and a Welcome Home

Heddleston Family Session

What a blessing it's been for me to have been asked to take this family's pictures.  With lots going on including a couple "new" additions to the family I was able to catch a glimpse into the fun, love they share for one another.  Thank you Heddleston's for being good sports about risking your lives to get this shot!  It's absolutely beautiful!

Happy 10 Year Wedding Anniversary!

  Sean and Kristin

Loved getting to take pictures of our friends for their 10 Year Wedding Anniversary.  Their lives are so busy running a household of 4 it's not often that they get to stop and take a moment for themselves let alone getting pictures done.  It was a quick photo shoot but I loved the way that the kids naturally ran in the picture and posed for the family picture, I didn't have to place them anywhere.  Happy Marriage = Happy Family.  Congratulations to the Coleman's for 10 Years!!!

Welcome to the World Ms. Mia Lane

It was my pleasure to take this little one's pictures.  What a sweet family and great experience to have for my first newborn shoot.  This little one is completely showered with love by her family.  This picture is special because the quilt she is laying on was made by her great-grandmother with pieces all quilted together with the family's blankets or clothing.  I still have a lot of learning to do when it comes to newborn shoots but what a great start.  Thank you to Christine and Jeremy who allowed me to hold, move, and capture this one's first days in this great big world.
